Shorts and tights are the latest trend. This year shorts aren't just for the summer.
Try to stay away from colored tights , stick to black or patterned (argyle or stripped)
I absolutely LOVE this trend, it used to be that tights can only be worn with skirts but now the varieties are endless.

wrapped scarves
wrapped scarves are the latest trend
I love these babies they are the perfect winter accessory.
Whether it is spice up an outfit or keep you warm wrapped scarves are perfect for the job.
I just recently got a black knit wrapped scarves with small studs for my secret santa. I loved the scarf so much i wanted to buy it for myself. The problem with normal scarves it must have the right amount of body to look right. Some normal scarves look so limp and ugly.
But wrapped scarves are purrrfectt.
There fancy enough for a dress yet casual enough for everyday

shoes shoes shoes
Pointy toe shoes are back.
previously considered old ladyis, pointy toe shoes are back with a bang.
It has become difficult to find flats or heels that don't have pointy toes.
So are the present day styles becoming more mature or have views just changed?
These shoes subtly add style to any peice and can be worn in every season.
However pointy toe shoes always seem to pinch your toes, and are very uncomfortable.
Have fun shopping

designer brand problemos
Society is obsessed with who's wearing the latest designer brand. But there's no way anyone could know what brand you are wearing. No one is gonna tear your shirt of your back to see what brand your wearing nor is anyone gonna check your receipt to see how much you paid. So stop worrying about what brand you wear but and how much you spend. Worry more about what styles you wear and how you impact the world

gift giving
The holidays are a time filled with gift giving. Everyone gets so excited for this time of your for one reason only: the gifts. To be honest the best gift anyone has ever given to me is money. Otherwise most gifts I pick out myself or don't like and therefore never use. I'm still waitng for someone to give me something I actaully want or need. But in the meen time all this stuff is gonna do is take up room in my closet. I feel bad because people that give gifts spend time and effort finding them for me. One time my brother went on a trip and I told him
to try to find for me a certain type of book. He came back home with a book i've already read. I foolishly told him this and that he shouldnt have got the book for me. The next day my mom comes up to me and tells me how hurt my brother was. I still feel bad because although i tried to patch things up with my brother I can't take back what I said.
So is gift giving really a good idea? Is all the stress worth it?

Mustache design
I really dislike the recent mustache design trend. Facial hair is for men ONLY. Why create shirts and jewelry that attract others to your unnecessary facial hair?? This design is very odd. Men don't walk around with their shirts covered in mustaches so why should women. I especially think this fashion trend is off limits to pubescent middle schoolers who do have facial hair that hasn't been removed yet. The mustache craze has only attracted more attention to this! Looking for opinions.. disagree or agree hmu!

The ultimiate disguise: age appropriate
Every day I walk around the streets of new york city and I see people dressed in their best. Sometimes that means twelve year olds disguised as twenty year olds in amazingly short skirts and stiletto heals. This has become so widespread that Americans no longer can define what is the age appropriate way to dress.
Recently Obama's kids were dressed in flowy, knee length skirts and there was much talk about this. Should tweleve year olds be showing off their bodies at such a young age?
http://runway.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/11/09/a-new-set-of-eyes/
Think about it, if these kids are disguising themselves as twelve year olds that means that they are looking to seek the attention of men twenty years old and over. That is completely inappropriate and dangerous behavior. People should have the self confidence to not strut in skin tight skirts and belly shirts. What ever happened to the traditional classy way women dressed? Do women think if they are getting the attention of men physically then that means they are more respected? I honestly believe that the more you show the less there is to see, so a boy would be more interested in that girl who knows how to dress classy than the girl that doesn't respect her body enough to keep herself covered.

Footsie pajamas
Yes I'm seriously talking about adult sized footsies.
My friends for some reason are obsessed with wearing them.
Pros: you'll look adorable dressed up like a baby, they will keep you warm in the winter, footsies are so soft and are perfect for cuddling
Cons: they are don't come in many sizes so may be tight in certain areas and lose in others, you won't look sexy in them (not good for sleepovers ;-)), footsies can make you too hot at nights.
So lets get down to business are they a fashion do or fashion don't???

What's the deal with sneaker heels
Every where I go I seem to find people wearing sneaker heels and I’m
honestly not sure what I think about this trend. Lets face it sneaker
heels DO NOT look like sneakers, if anything they look like military
style booties. Sneakers are meant to be worn when you excersize… There
is no way those puppies are meant to be worn in the gym. I can so
imagine Someone walking into the gym tying to look gorgeous while
getting a workout wearing sneaker heals and then falling off the
treadmill.
